Meet Kirsty
A Little about me...
Hi, I’m Kirsty! I’m originally from Scotland, but after calling Dubai home for the past 15 years, it really has become home to me.
I’m a mum of two and, before The Mum Friend, I spent many years working as a primary school teacher. Between motherhood, teaching and building a life here in Dubai, caring for and supporting others has always been a huge part of who I am.
I know how wonderful motherhood can be, but I also know that it can sometimes feel overwhelming, isolating or simply a lot to juggle. And when you’re living away from family or the support network you once had, having someone in your corner can make such a difference.
That’s one of the reasons The Mum Friend means so much to me. I wanted to create the kind of warm, genuine support that feels less like a service and more like having a friend nearby — whether that’s someone to meet for a coffee, come along to an appointment, lend an extra pair of hands or simply listen.
